Created to enhance the common level of cybersecurity throughout the European Union, the NIS2 Directive introduces significant changes through a risk-based approach. These changes encompass the expansion of its scope, the introduction of more stringent surveillance measures, precise incident reporting requirements, and the mandate for individual organizations to address cybersecurity risks in supply chains and relationships with suppliers.

Aims

The course aims to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the NIS2 Directive and its impacts on cybersecurity. Additionally, the course aims to equip participants with practical skills to assess and address cybersecurity risks in both public and private organizations, as well as in supply chains and supplier relationships. By the end of the course, participants will be able to comprehend the directive’s scope, assess its impact on organizational operations, and implement effective strategies for compliance.

Prerequisites

No mandatory prerequisites are required; however, it is desirable for participants to have at least a basic knowledge of cybersecurity concepts and the previous regulation (NIS1) to fully grasp the implications of the changes introduced by the NIS2 Directive.
