Aims
The course involves achieving the following tasks:
- Understand and describe key components of cloud-based systems, including clients, providers, scalability, and storage.
- Identify controls for data security in the cloud, including data detection, risk management, and business continuity plans.
- Analyze and manage cloud infrastructure, including security tools and concepts of business continuity and disaster recovery.
- Understand the software development life cycle, ensuring secure cloud environments, and managing access and identity.
- Manage cloud infrastructure through risk assessment, monitoring, and auditing, applying best practices.
- Address privacy, audit, and compliance issues, understanding ethics, criminal investigations, and evidence collection in a cloud environment.
Prerequisites
There are no formal prerequisites for attending the course, although possessing skills and experiences in Cybersecurity and IT Security topics and practices is recommended.
To take the exam, a minimum of 5 years of full-time IT experience is required, including 3 years of information security and at least one year of Cloud Security experience.
